The Bunurong Marine & Coastal Park 17 kilometres of panoramic ocean views between Inverloch and Cape Paterson is often compared to a mini version of the Great Ocean Road. Striking rock formations, sandy coves, rugged sandstone cliffs and prominent headlands. Plenty of places to stop and admire the views across Bass Strait. Shack bay is a great spot for a picnic steps down to sheltered cove.

Every year from the 26th December to the 26th January Amusement Services Australia operates the Island Summer Carnival at Cowes.

Every day up to thirty local Pelicans arrive for their daily serve of fish, provided by San Remo Fishermans Co-op. This entertaining and close up natural experience is well worth the time - the kids will love it!

Ripple Replica
Ripple Replica
Just past the Inlet Hotel on the Esplanade is the replica of the ketch - "Ripple" who operated in local waters in the late 1880's and played a big part in the establishing Inverloch as a sea port. Built in 1872 near Gosford the ketch was 57 feet long and 16 feet wide weighing 29 tons.
